Think of sex as a marketplace. Men place near maximum demand on it. Women want to give it to the men, but they know that they can extract value from the man before giving in. So they want to be treated well, taken care of, flattered, etc.

So a woman has a man pursuing her. He does everything right. Takes her on dates, makes her laugh, calls her beautiful. However, the man, like any rational player, is pursuing multiple women at the same time because of his high demand for sex.

He happened to also be pursuing a slut. The slut sleeps with the man after just the slightest amount of attention has been given to her. She did not receive the value the man could have given her, nor did she lead him along at all. The woman who attempted to extract from the man is now out of luck as she has lost to the slut.

This of course lowers the price of sex, and therefore the value that women can extract from men. As the amount of sluts rise, the women who attempt to hold off before giving into sex are disadvantaged. The sluts outcompete them by giving away their value at the beginning of the interaction, and thus gaining a hold on a man's attention.

Therefore women in general must become sluttier if they are to compete in the marketplace, causing a race to the bottom, as women must give in sooner in order to keep the man's attention

That is why slut shaming is rational for women. It allows them to create a social stigma to depress the number of sluts, which raises the value of the sex that women can offer, and therefore the value that they can extract from a man.

The movement against slut shaming, is thus a boon for men. It will create more sluts, and therefore men can get what they want more easily. Men will also be able to "test" a higher number of women, because women have devalued their greatest advantage, placing relatively higher power into the hands of men.
