A lot of stuff is being taken out of context, and frankly the GIFs of Hamill with a weird look on his face seem ignorant to the fact that Hamill is a fucking weird dude lol

He has said he didnt agree with where they were taking Luke at first, but that is NOT the same as people claiming he hates it. He has also had repeatedly credited Rian Johnson for having an open creative dialogue with him. Besides, Luke is *vague spoilers* back to his more optimistic, triumphant self by the end.

Luke's had a totally normal life.

New starwars spoils and then some

Hes all hunky dory-, his adoptive family is burned alive when he checks, fights in some wars, friends die, almost kisses his sister, finally finds his dad, turns out his dad is a galactic monster, finds a master, said master dies on him, dad cuts his hand off after a brief reunion, darkside sounds good to him occasionally, finally gets a good relationship with his dad, he dies minutes later, best friend bangs his sis, looks after their kid, tries to restart his religion with the kid plus 11, fails, they all die but one, the one wants to be like his evil dad, makes decent headway, Luke says fuck it, stays on a deserted island planet for like a decade, and then at this point it's not okay to be a bit goofy? Hescoping quite well I thought.
