Two things I do are be funny and be brutally honest about everything. If they see how honest and straightfoward you are being, chances are they are going to do the same, which will make them feel comfortable. If you get them laughing while feeling comfortable, then you can board that ship and blast off.

If you're gay, it's ALL in the eye contact - that's literally the main thing. If you're straight, it's mostly just about getting her attention casually and talking to her without giving off creepy vibes. Very body language-centric. If she's alone and she's receptive, she'll talk to you for a minute. In either case, get a number and text later on.

this. if she likes you and you already have her number then just ask her out somewhere casual. coffee/lunch/whatever. something where you can leave at any point basically. then just talk there. say she looks cute or something similar. be genuine with it. like if she just did her hair then comment on that. just be honest and direct and not awkward and if she likes you then you're in

Flirting is not about what you say. At all. The subject of discussion could be anything. It's more about your eye contact and overall body language. If two people are talking and there is at least a base level of attraction/tension, it's flirting. I mean... you just know.
