.....biased against asian actors in big hollywood movies than against black actors in big movies? Was their as much opposition or criticism about finn in tfa as there is to rose in tlj? imo some of the criticism is based on her race.

I don't think it's really a fair comparison. The actress wasn't the worst thing ever, but her performance did feel a little flat,and she has the disadvantage of most of her scenes being disliked for other reasons.

I can't remember the full reaction to Boyega, but I remember it being played up to be more than it actually was. I think people were more angry about Rey than him

What the fuck does "SJW" even mean any more? I've always been confused ever since people first started using it. The most common answer I got was "People who go out of their way to find something to complain".
Having seen Star Wars the other nught, what about it makes it an "SJW" movie going by that initial definition? These internet slangs are confusing the hell out of me nowadays.

You can pretty much ignore most people who use it these days.

Originally it was meant to refer to people who would make mountains out of molehills for the sake of starting shit, usually to tweak their egos to make themselves look like moral beacons. The modern day equivalent of the concerned Christian parent.

But like any buzzword, people of the Internet started slathering it over fucking everything.
