I figured I'd take my father out to dinner for his Christmas. I'll do the same for my mother as well, but I wanted to get her something to open up as well. She likes decorative angels, so I assumed it'd be something easy to find. I went to six different places and no luck in finding one. I only saw two of them. One was a weird sort of wooden doll with a Nativity scene on its dress and the other had an old fashioned Christmas hat; meaning that she'd be unable to decorate with it except at Christmas time.

How can something so basic be so elusive?
