Realistically. After a rebellion, theres often a fight for power

So the rebellion wouldve split in factions fighting against each other. IMO it shouldve been Lando vs Lea

With Luke trying to bring back the Jedi. Kylo Ren doesnt betray luke and become a sith, instead he becomes a fanatical Jedi. And creates a new branch of some sort of weird extremist Jedi cultish religion, and splits from Luke

Thus creating a third faction

Luke realizes that the Jedi way is archaic and doesnt bother with it anymore, and creates more of a grey area Jedi.

Realistically, all that happened after RotJ was that the new Deathstar and a few Star Destroyers were taken out. The rest of the Empire was still intact. Assuming there was any leadership continuity, they would have been fine.

The EU did it better and made more sense, Luke was not a shitty failure, Han and Leia stayed a strong couple, and there were still credible threats.

Disney SW is a sad joke when EU fan fiction did it 100% better and with more class.

Jania and Jacen were better characters then Kylo and Rey.

No I actually only read the first half of your post and didn't think about it at all. But the beauty of Star Wars is there are so many stories that have been told, and so many more that can be told. Pick and choose what you like, or go create what you want to see.
