Their numbers wouldn't be very big as trans affects about .05% of the human race, it's not like homosexuality or left handedness as each of those are about 10% of the human race.

Also come together to do what?

Yeah about a half of a percent. That's why it isn't ever going to be an effective enough wedge issue to replace homosexuality because it doesn't affect enough people.

Remember when the media was trying to make it a new wedge issue with the bathroom thing but it didn't take because it just doesn't affect enough people. Every once and a while you'll still hear a news story or politician trying to make it into a thing but it's just not going to work longterm.

One of the reasons why race, immigration, abortion, and religion are being pushed harder on us now is because the last president had made it illegal to discriminate against homosexuals to provide cover for putting the TPP on the fast track. That removed one of the pillars of the god, guns, and gays wedge issue trifecta that are used to prevent solidarity. Trans is never going to be a very effective wedge issue, and guns doesn't work while the Repubs control everthing so they had to double down on the other ones.

Idk, trans activism seems to be pretty effective in places like Canada and did create quite the havoc during the whole bathroom debacle. What's funny is that most trans people that were asked about it said that they were super uncomfortable with the added spotlight and that they didn't feel like those trans activist represented them or were doing anything in their favor.

We did just get our first trans legislator tho right? So its still an issue that people rally around. And it seems that regardless of how many trans people there actually are, people are still using it as a proxy issue in order to gain power by other means. Mainly the SJW who live to make these arguments.

I'm not saying that it's not a thing I'm saying that it will never affect enough people to be a full-fledged wedge issue like the classical ones that are used on us every day.

Also I can't speak about Canadian politics as it's not a country that I pay any attention to since I've never lived there, only the USA and Mexico.

No I understand what you're saying, I'm saying that regardless of how many people it actually affects that it won't stop people from coopting their cause to push forth their own agenda on a much larger scale. You don't need that many actual trans people, you just need people that support trans people in order to make it a powerful movement.

Not saying that will happen, but the rise in SJW attack dog activism makes it seem possible.
