Either preceding or following the release of the album? Like the longest time i know between a single preceding an album is almost 3 years, with Jay Rock's album "Follow me Home". The first single was released in October 2008, while the album was released in July 2011. For a single following an album, i dont know any where its more than like 1.5 years
