To those of you with best friend(s), how did you meet them? And how did you become best friends.

To those that may not have best friends, but maybe close friends instead, same thing.

Met at work, we talked and stuff and were cool, one day she needed a ride and we jammed to blink 182 and started hanging out outside of work (usually with another coworker, who we both became friends with)

known him since I was about 6. we didn't become "best" friends though until I was closer to 16. kinda sucks in hindsight, we where friends but he didn't hang around that often because he didn't like my other friends, and if he actually had of told me that I would have ditched them.

Haven't had a best friend in years, but it was through school at the time. Of course, moving around a lot hurt that.

For my male best friend, we knew each other is 3rd grade. I was new to the school, but we ended up hanging out slot of field trips and stuff because of last names were close in alphabetical order. Then he invited me and two others guys to a gaming sleepovers for his birthday. Then we were inseparable. We hung out nearly every weekend for years.

My female best friend, we met in 9th grade. I would talk to her, but she would only smile and nod(I found out why later).
We met again in 11th grade and had the same classes for lunch everyday. We called each other names constantly. Then I moved and it turns out we were right down the street from each other. She called me a stalker, and ran home. Then we became best friends and hung out every day.

Another good friend on mine, I also met in 3rd grade. We didn't ever really talk. And she went to a different school for 7th grade. We that school found asbestos, they move to out school. We ended up in the same math class every year and formed a bond.

Then I became sort of the leader of my group of friends.

Best friends: one our parents were already friends, other two I just knew from school. We all live in different cities now though.
