A mexican chorizo ancho chili black bean (mix? chili?) served with white onion, cilantro, tomato and lime on white corn tortillas.

The brown thing is the fresh chorizo that I scooped out of the shells pan-fried, then I added the sauce I made. Sauce was made of toasted and soaked ancho chili, havanna pepper that I mixed, spiced and seasoned, added lime, brown sugar and a pan-fried tomato to give more umami. Balance out the flavors to have a sweet sour umami flavor with the spicyenss of the havanna peppper and the base of ancho flavors.

I added just a bit of the sauce at a time to the chorizo not to overpower any flavor, when they married I added the black beans, then when it was drying up, taste it for salt and sweetness, add if needed.

Then on some white corn tortillas, white onion, cilantro, tomato, sour cream and lime on top. Eat that small one in one bite and it's fucking amazing. The sourcreme binds all together it's was so good.

Tbh you could do without that, just make dilute the sauce a bit, the beans cut down a bit of the strong flavor, you can also change the beans with any other bean if you want.

Instagram worthy, really aesthetically pleasing dish. Flavour combo's sound on point as well.

I do think the portion size is a bit small, even eating 6 seems like i'd need something else. Maybe if you prepared this with a side it'd be more optimal.

I enjoy to make new things too, but sometimes the time and effort involved aren't worth it, and I feel this dish might suffer from that.

It does look great, and I'm sure it tastes great though.

Well the shot is a beauty shot of the dish, when I made the others I had more of all the fillings and didn't looks are good, so I had more food. But I also need portion control now due to my diabetes and needing to go down weight, I could've eaten even more.

It was pretty easy and fast to do tbh, but what took time was experimenting with the sauce and getting the flavors to work, after all first time I made this. It was totally worth the effort.
