Idk where to go. Everytime I pick up that armor key I die

Kinda went around and pressed X on everything I can but Im stumped. What do

You got to go get the dog whistle that is on the east side of the mansion and blow that on the balcony outside on the west side of the mansion. Kill the dog and get a fake armor key and replace the real one with it

Oh shit, you are really in the beginning lol, ignore what I said, that's a bit later in the game, you shouldn't even be messing with the armor key right now. If you go to the room before the armor key, where they are 1-2 zombies and a mirror and such, you should find a arrow near the second mirror, examine it to get the arrow tip. Then go back to the entrance and climb up the stairs and go through the door under the giant painting near the middle of the stairway. Go past the graveyard and down the steps to the underground area and put the arrowhead into the slot and you'll get a book, open it and get a key that will help open up more doors.

It's an amazing game (although not for everyone). Enjoy. I'd love to play it again for the first time.

potential spoiler warning just in case--

have you picked up the arrow in the hallway with the mirrors (near the room where you pick up the key that you cant collect)? you need to get that and examine it. then take that to the graveyard which is located in the main hall just up the stairs.

Whats dumb is that I had that arrow but I didnt know you had to examine it to get the arrowhead. I assumed there was an arrowhead out there I had to find. So dumb

If only there was a site with walkthroughs or you were born when technology could just show you what to do.

Seriously though, just eat the game disc as you wont get any enjoyment with your pathetic gaming skills.

you dont get the key out of the statue of death room until really late in the game
and examine everything you get because there are a few things you need to examine.

if you know the puzzles you can breeze through the games
lucky for me i have really poor memory so i pretty much forget what im supposed to do every time i replay it so it never becomes too easy for me.

its also why i enjoy rewatching tv shows and rereading books
i forget a lot of the details
