Last year I had received $5,500 bonus by check. I am guessing this year will be the same or slightly more.

Yep. Got 1000 bucks. They gave it as an actual check instead of the usual direct deposit. Came with a nice letter saying how much our company improved this year over last year and a thank you from the owners. It was nice.

I don't know, this is my first Christmas here

The way my old job did it was bizzare though. It was basically a lottery type system with different prizes and money amounts. You could get high ticket items like a good chunk of money and ipads or you could end up with like $100 or an iTunes giftcard. Then they'd do a final drawing for a weeks paid vacation and a cruise. Only one person would win that though.

It was fun, but its hard to beat just getting money

I get an extra 80 hour paycheck

We are closed for two weeks around the holidays so it's basically just paid vacation time. Which is still good.

I count my 9 day paid days off as my bonus

Nope but we have a Xmas party where they buy us a nice dinner.

The bonuses come in March.

Yeah. Not sure how the exact amount is determined but I usually get ~1300 (tax pre-deducted)

Sort of. I think it's actually given in early Q1 (this is my first year here).

Yes, but it might as well not exist because they cut a bunch of hours for the rest of the month afterwards.
