All the stuff about family, getting together, giving and receiving gifts, etc. none of that actually requires any belief in the Bible or God. When you were a kid did you treat Christmas as the day to worship the birth of Christ and focus on nothing but that, or did you just see it as a day where you got a bunch of presents? Because if it wasn't the latter then lol. And as an atheist I've never gotten sad on any theistic holiday. On Easter and shit I always had fun Easter egg hunting and even now setting that up for kids in the family is still enjoyable. At no point am I think about the crucification and resurrection of Christ. The saddest day for an atheist is just whatever happens to be their worst day of the year for whatever reason.
