- math major at an ivy league university

- yet at the same time he's also the most well-versed when it comes to arts + culture

- has a great mind for mathematics yet is also probably the only person here who can expound on feminist critical theory or the semiotics of cinema

- conversant in most matters literary, cinematic, music, artistic, etc

- he's one of the few, if not the only, people here who read interesting magazines like the Paris Review

- he hosts his own college radio show where he plays avant garde/ outsider / left field music

- a genuine depth of understanding and original insight on most matters he speaks about

- excellent writer with a genuine appreciation for great prose style

meanwhile most of ce doesn't really care to know much about anything but engineering, video games, blockbuster films, etc

No, that was me with a trolling persona, but I dropped that after I realized it wasn't funny and pretty offensive.

If you want to know the real me @Mal_Fet, I graduated with a physics degree and am now a grad TA. I still haven't found a research lab I want work with but I have key interest in both a lab doing cosmology/astrophysics research and nuclear physics since nuclear physics can be extended to astrophysics later in my career.

I trolled a large part of my online life, but I matured a lot since then and realized that justifying something as trolling is a weak excuse. I'm still doing to annoy someone and that's not something that's right

Overall I'm pretty politically liberal nowadays and that goes for social and economic levels. I was pretty arrogant back in the day, but it took me being bitten in the ass to realize how I was(basically things shot up in my face). I had friends that I had trusted sit me down and talk to me, and I dropped my ego to listen to them.

I'm glad things shot up in my face though because it made me a better person. I'm still not perfect, but I'm a much more calm and I'd like to think empathetic person. I learned just because I'm doing well doesn't mean I can project that to others and listening and understanding people's problems as a valid is not a bad thing.

So that's where I am currently.

I'm fine with that. Still got my astronaut dreams though and I think for the most part I'm on track for it
