It's meant to scare the audience. Magic is just the support, the horror is the main show. She keeps in character even off-stage in the interview sessions. Gets abit overdone maybe, but it's something other magicians can think about. Make your magic fit into a theme, instead of just doing the bland old magic tricks everyone else keeps doing. I like the idea of storytelling using magic, but honestly the tricks themselves were kind of lame. I much prefer slight of hand magic because you're right up in the audience's face and you can't rely on elaborate stage gimmicks or forced perspective to engineer magic. --- "History Is Much Like An Endless Waltz.
