It's just intersex but he'll pull that typical "it's a mutation, not all trans people are intersex" line while sticking to biological essentialism. And then he'll say that's just a buzz word. He'll also insist that there is a biological component to homosexuality in spite of the fact that such premises did not exist in the society from which the term hailed. Plus all those straight guys who would have orgies at one of the many celebratory events throughout the year, making it really difficult to even insist that the modern components he's adding in even make sense to attribute after the fact.

For that matter, in the US the current administration has tried erasing us by banning us from military service as well as making it so the CDC cannot use the word "transgender" or else risk losing their funding. So yeah, no. You're wrong and just want to attack me to get your rocks off.

I haven't seen those articles, actually. Though, I'd probably ignore them if they did.

But I mean, we have situation where we've got the words heterosexual and homosexual (and some others, but they aren't as relevant to the current issue). Suppose we see a man with some person. If this person looks like a woman, we'll typically call the man heterosexual. This is well before we know anything about either person. Now, suppose nothing about this changes, but said person who looks like a woman has a penis. To the best of our knowledge, he's still heterosexual, because we don't know anything and are going based entirely on outward appearance.

Now look at this situation from the guy's perspective. Suppose he is a "heterosexual" man who sees this person for the first time. To him, this person looks like a woman and is attracted to this person for that reason. Then, he comes to find out that this person has a penis. Now, this may or may not be enough to completely turn him off, but he's still left with the rest of the visual stimuli that attracts him as a "heterosexual" man. Now, if if he stays with this person, I suppose we looking from the outside could potentially call him "homosexual;" but that's less to do with the reality of the situation and more to satisfy our need to quickly label something so we can immediately "understand" it. But such a simple label application doesn't deal with the fact that some (perhaps even most) of what physically attracted him to this person are the same things that would attract any other heterosexual man. Hell, in this situation, the entire basis for his interested began with purely "heterosexual" attraction.

And people can't just sweep that under the rug and expect to gain any sort of understanding.

So you say. But I'm pretty sure that statistically validated proof that we are discriminated against is a better signal of why I'm considered inferior than whatever this here is supposed to mean.
