Later in a text from August 15, 2016, Strzok tells Page: "I want to believe the path you threw out for consideration in Andy's office" -- an apparent reference to Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe -- "that there's no way he gets elected -- but I'm afraid we can't take that risk. It's like an insurance policy in the unlikely event you die before you're 40 . . . . " Page does not appear to have responded, according to records reviewed by CNN.

http://www.cnn.com/2017/12/12/politics/peter-strzok-texts-released/index.html

Not only does the first sentence reveal that the two FBI agents and McCabe discussed a plan to prevent him from winning ("path you threw out... that there's no way he gets elected"), but the second sentence implies that they had a plan to stop him if he did win (the "insurance policy").

Also, 80/80

I guess calling him an "FBI agent" was underselling the importance of this. The dude is the Deputy Assistant Director of the FBI and their chief of counterintelligence.

If you haven't been following this over the last week or so, he's one of the FBI members who were released from Mueller's Special Counsel investigation after the anti-Trump texts between him and the FBI colleague (who he was having an affair with) were discovered.

Good. Glad Mueller is a pretty credible guy.

There's plenty of other sources, but at least most of CE doesn't spend the topic bitching about CNN (versus, say, ZeroHedge).

seriously though the dude was immediately fired before the public even knew what the texts were. No calls were made for him to be fired, Mueller did it on his own initiative and disclosed the contents.

I mean like, if you've got evidence that Mueller knew about this for years I'd like to see that. Otherwise I believe the right thing was done and Mueller has proven his integrity.

Why are you being so defensive about Mueller? I didn't even say anything about him.

My point for making this topic was to show that high-ranking members of the FBI were actively conspiring against Trump. At least, that's certainly what some of these texts are making it look like.

It's not like I've never said Mueller's investigation needed to stop. In fact, I'm pretty sure I've advocated for Trump to be investigated. However, it's already been shown that the DNC was doing a bunch of shady shit last year and now there's more and more evidence coming out that the FBI probably had their hands dirty too. I don't see any reason why they're seemingly getting a pass on everything. There should be investigations into more than just the Trump campaign.

High Ranking members of the FBI conspiring against trump is meaningless if they are immediately fired from the FBI for doing so.
