Okami is meh for me 2 hours in. Can't see myself putting in the 35 or whatever hours is standard to beat it at all.

I surmise it has to be a stupid reason.

I tried played Okami and I turned it off in the first 30 minutes. Ridiculous wall of text intro was annoying and insulting.

Its not interesting 2 hours in.
Like 20 minutes for the intro video.
Cringe babble voice effects.
Annoying bug sidekick that talks to much.
2 second "puzzles" and brain teasers.

I imagine it'll get better, but combat is basic shit. Like ocarina of time basic. I'm not expecting modern combat mechanics in a 10 year old game but I expected more then this.
