I'm curious about that myself. I was under the impression that most YouTubers had their pay dramatically cut after the adpocalypse.

For instance, I follow RebelTaxi and he complained that his revenue dropped to 1/2-1/4 of what it was previously.

I do wonder how they afford it all. I've been told they adamantly refuse to get a Patreon. I love the guys, but most of their videos never crack 200k views.

It is still baffling how he affords his lifestyle. It's a known issue that YT is not paying content creators well.

They have quite a bit of merchandising. And Pat is getting more into twitch which currently pays a lot better than youtube.

Do you know if Liam does anything outside of his stream now? I'm subscribed to his YT channel, but honestly I never watch it unless a particular game catches my eye.

In my opinion, Pat is the best solo streamer. The others really need someone to bounce off of for me to watch. Also, his stream is the best because you occasionally get to see Elmo!

As a professional youtuber (well not really, but I've made money) I have gotten about 50 dollars for a 50k video.

So he's only making around maybe 1500 a video. However he's probably still making money each month for views on older videos. Ive also seen him do promotions for products before his videos.

Definitely before the adpocalypse, he was making relatively good money. Like somebody else said he clearly had/has people on staff to help him make/produce his videos for a while. He might have made some investments possibly? YouTubers aren't required to be as open with their money streams as, say, somebody like boogie2988 (who honestly reveals way too much...as obvious from his personal life problems right now). Usually the only ones who are pretty open about it are some of the YouTubers who were just making enough to get by before the adpocalypse and are currently confronted with possibly having to get a "real" (I use that term lightly) job. Jontron is definitely a few steps up from that. And from his early vids I think it was pretty obvious he came from a good family background.
