it's about an autistic doctor. I like it, but it's not very realistic. especially after the episode I just watched where he got all freaked out cause of some problems in his apartment and was yelling and panicking. and he pissed off his landlord but somehow didn't get evicted. I don't think someone like that could handle being a doctor. even if they knew all the stuff needed to be a doctor, they would lack the ability to carry themself through life properly and do their job. I had a psychiatrist tell me once that these miracle savants that you see in media are rare to non existant and that most autistic people, even mild ones, are average to under average in terms of life achievement. The Good Doctor is a fantasy

I don't like shows that look like caricatures of disorders. Monk annoyed me for the same reason.

Granted, a *lot* of stations have used the whole dangerously unconventional doctor, whether it's House or Doc Martin.
