Never liked the quote "monkeys with typewriters eventually write Shakespeare blah blah blah". As if somehow having infinite time means they'll go through infinite combinations. Well NO, they could just slam the M or S letter keys for all eternity.

And "life is like a box of chocalates, you never know what you're gonna get". What crap chocolates are you buying?! Literally every brand of chocolate collection boxes have had pictures/lists of what you'll get on the box AND usually paper sleeves inside with the info since at least the early 1900s.

And the Schroedingers cat thing. They ALWAYS misquote so it makes no sense. This one bugs me, too.

The monkeys would jam too many keys at the same time and the things would all get stuck together.
Source : my mom had an old typewriter when I was young and we actually tried to jam as many keys as possible on purpose.

Yeah, thats what I always thought too. Even given infinite time I doubt that a monkey will ever accidentally type a coherent sentence longer than ten words, let alone a specific work of art.
