I always feel like impending doom is breathing down my neck whenever I see a new article about climate change. Maybe I'm a bit of an alarmist because stories about, for example, the Yellowstone Supervolcano and other horrific incoming natural disasters pretty much always ruin my day and get me a little bit depressed. Still, any time I see an updated model for climate change over the next 100 years or new predictions for the next natural disaster (mainly in the U.S.), it only makes it hard to sleep at night.

I am more bothered by day-to-day stuff like the world becoming too much crowded and it takes me 20% more time to get to work compared to a year ago because fuck traffic
