She feels remorse for some of the things she does. She genuinely loves her children. Weird as it may be, she truly loves Jamie. Book Cersei never feels remorse for anything. She's a narcissist who loves her children because they are extensions of her. She loves Jamie because he looks like her with a penis and pretty much dumps him after he returns from his imprisonment and looks different.
