i attribute a fair amount of my career success to people underestimating that fat indian lesbian with hipster glasses

If you do get into a relationship it has higher chance of being because of a deeper connection and not for shallow reasons. Of course if you have money you still run the risk of shallow people trying to act like they aren't shallow.

I've personally just convinced myself that the populations idea of success is shallow and by just being a good person and happy with who I am Im ahead of others. Most people will be miserable with who they are regardless of how successful they are....maybe Im just a modern day hippy.
