Also. I'm up to season 5 or 6 in mlp and finally watching equestria girls. All the pony characters look distorted or malformed in at least one way but the completely unique characters to the movie and generic people look normal.

I think it's that clash that's making me more than a little uncomfortable.

I just feel like people think women being free and open and powerful means we have to show off our sexuality all the time.

I can be confident and powerful without literally showing guys my private close up, and I can be free and have fun without constantly showing up me sexuality.

We like Bayonetta, of course we'll defend her and I'm surprised feminists are saying anything positive about Bayonetta considering that one in particular literally made up a trope just to describe her. A trope, by the way, that TVTropes themselves rejected and why is it bad if she's meant to be stimulating to men? What about women? What about men and women who like her in a non-sexual way (as in every normal person on the planet)? Also she's not supposed to be a child hero. No child should be looking up to her considering that her series is meant for adults and not kids.
