Not true societies are usually structured such that there is a system to ensure a match for everyone. Usually this was achieved partially by having families heavily involved/arranged marriages.
Obviously a wife fulfills a mans sexual needs but most societies have also allowed prostitution as well as an alternative outlet.

In modern western society we have no systemic system to ensure matches and we have outlawed prostitution. Basically if you werent born with the necessary genetics and or circumstances you really can be involuntarily celibate.

No one is genetically dispositioned to be a good seducer, and have good people skills. That's something that can be developed.
