apolloooo 12/04/17 9:19:47 PM #9:	And overall, falcom's trails series are better written than 99% of jrpg. The plot isnt as bombastic, but the worldbuilding and overall writing PLUS translation are better. Instead, trails is the complete Xeno series we never get. Xenogears was intended to be a big saga spanning multiple games. A Novel Idea 12/04/17 9:28:47 PM #12:	I remember the magical stretch in disc 2 where all of the mysteries start coming together and getting answered ~~who Wiseman is, Grahf's origin, why Ellie and Fei are drawn to each other, the origin of the ship from the intro, Fei's mom's abuse, etc~~ I don't think I've played another RPG that's done it as well in the early days of RPG Maker, like early 2000s, there was this series of games called "The Way" which were well loved by the community which had a Xenogears-style plot but set in an entirely different more medieval world, I liked that one a lot <cite>A Novel Idea posted [p:891602853] in Xenogears ...
