Well, the British accents that you've heard in American film and TV, which specific ones are they?


Both Hermione and Stan Shunpike would likely come from London but from entirely different social classes. Hermione is upper middle class, silver spoon kind of deal. She sounds like a typical boarding school kid. Stan was probably born to a plasterer or something. He's got that london cabbie, cockney geezer thing going on.

I guess some examples you could think of - Mr Belvedere versus Michael Caine as Alfred.
