Someone paying $2000000 in taxes shouldn't get any more a cut than someone paying $2000?

How is "60% of tax cuts" quantified? Do you mean of the individually named tax cuts 60% of them, or 60% of the amount taxed that is cut?

Unless we go with the House plan, which leaves the top bracket alone. The Senate plan lowers the top bracket 1.1% to 38.5%. Keep in mind from 2001-2013, it was 35%, and raising it accomplished nothing.

But it is kind of baffling how so many people can't figure out that the people who pay the most taxes get the most tax breaks. It's hard to give people tax breaks who don't pay any taxes. We already have a lot of people in this country with negative tax burdens. They get back more than they pay in.

Considering the wealthy pays the majority of all taxes, what were you expecting?

You can't get a tax cut if you don't pay any tax.

I'd assume it's things like fucking with student loans and tax breaks for private jets, things that are decidedly NOT for the betterment of the middle class.

Job creators! Trickle down!

Ugh. Massive rolleyes. Of course money trickles down, that's the only direction it can. Poor people don't create jobs.

The new 20% tax rate may actually help bring some of that money back to the U.S.

Did the repatriation thing happen?

I believe they did include it in the new tax bill, which is set at 12% for assets held overseas. There's a really chance a lot of money will be flowing back to he states.

Let's not forget some of the biggest companies lobbied for this change, including Google, Apple, Microsoft, Facebook and Amazon.

I think it's no coincidence that those are the companies regularly fined by the EU for every-damn-thing.

Not a new exemption for private jets:

You can create tax cuts that aren't this skewed to the wealthiest. The GOP chose not to.

Maybe you should read more about it before you comment on it. It was sponsored by a Democrat.
