Both BLM and modern feminists have been in the news recently making fools of themselves and doing dumb shit that does not help their image.

And condemning a good movement or belief (Such as equality for women or less police brutality) because of individual's behavior is the act of either the ignorant or someone that already doesn't like the idea of it and is just using those actions to justify their hatred of it

No, this is what BLM does and enables:

BLM is a very harmful group to both the people it helps (misguiding people ow to act with cops, making said problem worse) and others (cops, victims of riots, etc) You do not need to be part of blm to stand up to true cases of brutality. The other problems with BLM is that the idea itself is innate racist as there is plenty of targeting of different races in different areas and they never address Black on black crime.

They are not good movements, because they do not act on what they are supposed to stand for anymore (well BLM never did, but people buy in that propaganda apparently)

BLM is ONLY about spreading hate rather then trying to help anyone (i/e hate cops because they target black people) you do not need to endorse these misguided toxic groups to stand up for what is right.

While BLM's original cause has merit, their actions of rioting and property destruction makes it really hard to sympathize with them. They look bad and the message they send by their actions turns people away.

Okay so somehow thats my fault because you would rather generalize a whole movement off other peoples actions instead of asking the person specifically on why they are taking that stance?

Again. This could be an example of me being mad at a republican because the alt right are assaulting people on the streets.

Your movement generalizes all cops based on the behavior of a small number of shit bags who slipped through the ranks.

You're no better than anyone in here generalizing BLM for the idiots in your ranks.

Idk who you are talking about. But Me and my group down here dont cause or participate in riots and cause party damage. Are you going to shame MLK for causing traffic when he walked to Selma?

If you want to generalize like that again, then cool. That means all cops are racist and killers.

Nice job taking my comment out of context. You're literally pretending that BLM has never done this on several occasions. If anything, Martin Luther King's actions were genuinely promoting equal rights and nonviolent instead of supremacy and violence like BLM. Either way, you're just going to deny everything we say since you're so scared of admitting that BLM is anything but pure.

I support stopping extrajudicial killings; I really, really do.

I also support peaceful protest. What folks who partake in peaceful protest need to understand, however, is that blocking highways and roadways without a permit will get you arrested.

However, I don't think BLM are bad people for blocking roadways; if you're pushing for equality, that message is important.

The problem is that BLM isn't a unified movement; there are shitbags in the middle of things who muddy the waters.

If you don't paint all cops with the same brushstroke, I'll afford you the same courtesy.

It is never acceptable or ok to block roadways, obstructing traffic is the moment when anyones message no longer matters at all. People might be trying to get to work, to the hospital, have an emergancy, trying to get home after a long day etc and assholes blocking the road is when you turn anyone who might have supported you against you.

Protest on the sidewalk, protest in front of buildings, do NOT protest in the street.

I feel anyone blocking the road or obstructing traffic as a protester needs to be arrested and thrown in lock up.

Because our justice system isn't swamped enough.

It is illegal, sure, and people will be arrested. But your vehemence seems misplaced. You don't put someone in lockup for being inconvenient.

Also note: when I say arrested, I mean taken in, cited, and cut loose.

You can say the same thing about the other side bro. People wont to focus on the bad ones that are part of the movement instead of the message at the large. They are purposely ignoring it.

I wonder how you feel about MLK then. Because Martin Luther King jr did the same exact thing.

You are not understanding, BLM does not even fight for equil rights, again they do not adress black on black crime, and other races. It is very obvious the BLM movement was made as in "I am a victim because of my race so we need special rights"

If you have some kind of small faction that rides under the BLM title or tries to claim affiliation, your small group is an outlier and should start identifying under a different title to fight for EQUAL RIGHTS FOR ALL RACES not SPECIAL RIGHTS FOR BLACK People, one that address all targeting, for different races in different areas, not only caring about one race, this is why i said BLM is racist because there is more problems then just "black targeting"

I do not need to claim affiliation to a group (esp to a group that is known to be toxic) to stand up for what is right and what I believe in.
