Sprint is actually a good company. The only complaints I ever had with their cellular service was the lack of available phones due to GSM/CDMA differences.

Don't use Verizon. Boost Mobile is compatible with Sprint and Verizon and you can use both (may need an unlocked phone if you bought it from Verizon).

i actually bought my Note 8 through Samsung so it'd be unlocked in case i ever had to leave Verizon.

though I had my Note 4 through Verizon and was able to use the networks in Kuwait just fine no issue. <-<

Sprint and Verizon are good international carriers because CDMA is much more available.

AT&T is GSM so it makes sense that it wouldn't work well in Kuwait.

I didn't use Verizon while in Kuwait, I used a Middle East carrier, Ooredoo.

Just took my Verizon Sim out and popped a Ooredoo Sim in.

Yes but you wouldn't be able to do that at all with a GSM phone most likely.

Ooredoo is a GSM network. And as long as you make your network provider unlock your sim if they haven't done so already (Verizon is unlocked by default, Sprint is not), which the Law says they have to do, you can use your phone abroad.
