I played through it on hard. The first few palaces you'll need to play it slow and safe, but towards the end you'll be able to one day them if you sufficiently prepare.

I enjoyed playing it on hard. Made the whole experience last longer and the boss fights are genuinely challenging. You'll really need to optimize and not make any mistakes.

In the first dungeon you can't realistically fight everything in the dungeon in one day without bleeding resources. You really gotta pick your battles towards the end because it's very easy to just get one shotted by the red shadows
