I used to hear about this show a lot around the Internet about how great and unique it is. Now in all my Recommended Videos on YouTube, it's videos talking about how terrible it is.

I don't know much of anything about the show, and have never seen an episode.

I'm like twenty episodes behind and also curious about why it's suddenly gone to shit in the public's eye.

The fandom is notoriously shitty, but that's nothing new. It's probably some imagined SJW controversy about the creator being racist in some way.

Yeah, maybe. I was thinking about watching one of those videos, but I don't know if I want to gets spoiled or not since I might want to give the show a chance at some point

the fanbase sucks but every fanbase sucks so there's no reason to hold it against the show
some people hate anything resembling "sjw" content in their shows

the actual problems from the show stem from some stupid writing and really floaty and lame action sequences, along with the absurd amount of padding/filler

Which is paradoxical in a show that's eleven minutes long, and goes on hiatus for months at a time.

I was enjoying this other cartoon, but I can't remember the name of it off the top of my head. Two kids, boy and girl, and they're at this camp or something. . .

Cuz the fandom is super toxic. They once bullied a tween girl into attempted suicide cuz she drew 1 of the chubby characters as thin. They're fucked up >_>

Every fandom has a dark side and this fandom has a particularly dark, dark side. *shudders* Never actually seen any of that first hand, but what I've heard is pretty terrible.

Like the show though.

Season 4 did have awful pacing however.
