It's an amazing song. There's nothing wrong with the Wa wa part.
It's all a part of the exposition and transition.

No, I agree. I'm just saying, I think that's the low point of my favorite song. I can't even explain in words my level of love for this song. It's funny, only to me, that no matter where into the "wa wa wa" part I know which "wa wa wa" is the last 'wa wa wa' part and can pick up with the song's lyrics.

If I'm talking to someone in between, if I'm playing a game and the song is on, not matter what is happening when I'm listening to the song, I know when it's about to "start" again. And that's special to me for some reason I don't really know how to describe.

Dogs is my #2 song of all time, only behind Tweeter and The Monkey Man because of a special connection with my dad

One of my favorite Pink Floyd songs.

It's hard to make a song that's nearly 20 minutes long stay engaging pretty much the whole way through.
