Why Pat took so long to acknowledge when players buzzed in on the toss-ups earlier in the week:

Another thing I remembered at the taping... the music wasnt broadcasting in studio, nor were the buzz in dings for toss ups for the first three shows. The music blared (and startled pat and vanna) during the first toss up for about a second on [Monday]s episode, then cut out entirely and they could not get it turned back on again until show 4. So for all the tossups, it is totally silent in the studio, and Pat had to keep an eye on the total screen to see who buzzed in. Theres a couple of odd moments where people buzz in and Pat has a very late reaction to it that now make a lot more sense when you realize there was no music or buzz in chimes. The puzzle board ding for letters was working. That was it.

It was fixed after lunch break for shows 4-6.

And a whole round had to be thrown out on Wednesday's episode.

Round 2... oh let me tell you about round 2...

It was indeed a replacement puzzle. The original puzzle was ROCK CLIMBING AND RAPPELLING. It was Chrystals turn, and all that was left in the last word were the Ps. She guessed a T. Pat thought she said P. Yes, two Ps The puzzle board operator lit them up, and taping was stopped. Pat felt awful.

Everything had to be reset. Chrystal lost her Wild Card to a Bankrupt. That was returned. Ashley flipped the Mystery Wedge, revealing a Bankrupt. That was reset. The blue player landed on Free Play 3 times in a row - all lost to a bad call.
