I wonder who congress will pick for president next year.

They don't pick it, it automatically goes to Pence.

No. I am pretty sure Im correct. I think the administration is gutted. If Im wrong, thats fine, but somebody provide proof.

Nope, likemyname is right - If the president cannot serve for any reason (death, illness, impeachment, etc.), the Vice President automatically becomes president. After that, I believe the next in line is House Speaker, someone from the Senate (it's not the senate majority leader, which I find weird), then it gets a bit obscure, but I believe it goes to the President's cabinet.

The VP isn't part of the President's administration. He's an elected official, not an appointed one, to take over if anything happens to the President, including impeachment or resignation. No need for Congress to decide when voters already did.

The problem is that it's possible that Pence was involved in the coverup as well, which would throw him out as a successor to Trump. In that case Paul Ryan would become President (since he's speaker of the house). If he couldn't do it, it would go to the President Pro Tempe of the Senate (which is someone like Orrin Hatch or Mitch McConnell). I don't believe anyone who hasn't been elected by the people can replace the president (even though a cabinet member taking the president's place makes an exciting show on television).

Fun fact: Gerald Ford was not elected by the people. He was appointed to Vice President after Spiro Agnew resigned, and then President after Nixon resigned.

Additionally, after President pro tempore of the Senate, all of the line of succession are appointed cabinet positions.

You mean the person that spent eleven consecutive hours testifying to congress?

When exactly was the last time a conservative was accused of wrongdoing and did anything like that?

This charge doesnt hold the weight people think it does, and in no way should be used to beg the question of russia conspiracy.

The longer you get questioned the more likely you are to say something not entirely true, which then gets brought up in court after the fact, and can be used as a means of coercsion in court so the defendant in question can avoid potential purjury charges.

This tactic is used all the time on republicans AND democrats. None of you children understand whats going on, which is why its so hilarious watching you all beat your chest in misplaced self righteous victory, the same as when you laugh at conservatives for the same thing.

Nothing will come from this as there is nothing to be found. Just more smoke and mirrors to distract people from the real news stories.

Remember when you were outed as a neo-nazi, that was embarrassing, ok?

Even more so considering the way he was outed was by himself posting a bunch of white supremacist links to propaganda sites that claimed black people were the cause the majority of the violence and crime in the US.

He was promptly moderated and for good reason. Ridiculously cringe that he even occasionally posts on this board after that.

He's his own worst enemy, ok?

His posts in the tax cut topic are reminiscent of Icoyar's misunderstanding math.
