I doubt it will do 2B. TFA was a smash hit because Star Wars had been dormant for so long and most considered the prequels to be trash.

I'm guessing anywhere from 1.2-1.5.

It won't make it to 2 billion. TFA was such a pop culture phenomenon that it got people in theaters that wouldn't otherwise watch a star wars film. Last Jedi won't have that.

I believe it could, but certainly wouldn't count on it. SW also doesn't do well in china compared to other big franchises. BatB is currently at 1.5b ww, I think TLJ will top that tho.
