I can see why people were disappointed, I enjoyed it enough since I went into it thinking of it as a made for tv movie. I'd buy it if I found it cheap enough. You'll play as a historical figure, Fate style, so don't expect any accuracy to the actual historical figure. Example, take a look at how awful Fate did the serial killer Elizabeth Bathory. And as said historical figure, you'll hack and slash your way through hordes of fodder enemies while getting the occasional non fodder enemy. It's a fun enough game, but I enjoy Warriors games, so my opinion may not be the best. As far as story goes, it's not the greatest story Fate has done. But I also did not play the previous game. The game brings in a ton of Servants from different Fates, along with some originals. They range from good to bad. The servants are my biggest problem with Fate. Started as a VN then got a bunch of Anime and shit. Far as I know the only games are the one before Extella and Extella. Also the mobile game, but I don't like talking about that one.
