I thought the point of diversification followed the same logic as diverse genetics in populations. Essentially, the idea being that you breed safety in diverse susceptibility. So if one thing crashes for one reason, your entire portfolio isn't bunk.

Cryptocurrencies seem to be driven by the same speculative market forces, and as such, when one crashes, they all seem to crash. So diversification isn't really buying you much.

good point, I really just want to hit on a shitcoin and push all of it back into bitcoin tbh. I will probably hold onto ODN for awhile though but the rest are basically cheap lotto tickets
