Yeah I felt season 4 was a return to form after the slightly disappointing season 3 (which had to follow up the overamazing ambitious season 2) and I really enjoyed the split into 3 arcs, how each arc led to the next arc, and how it all came together at the end.

finished Punisher yesterday, but I still need to start Inhumans and Runaways. i know they aren't supposed to be connected, but I was hoping to get through them before the season started.

Heh apt username. Inhumans is garbage, I can't even understand the prank that this show is from Disney/Marvel/ABC on its audience. I just can't understand it. I watched it recently out of morbid curiosity, expecting a so bad it's The Room level quality where you can have fun riffing on it. But it's just bad. It's not even bad to be so bad it's good. It's just... insulting.

So beware on that front.

As for Runaways, Marvel TV had almost lost its goodwill with the tripe in the paragraph above so I dare not even see it. Then again Punisher has been great so far... I'll probably sit on it. For me the similar show is The Gifted, which has been a delightful surprise in how amazing it is (again, so far)

So I saw this topic and decided to watch the premiere (I saw all through, maybe, halfway through season 4? I remember Aida becoming a thing and Mei was the first to go in the simulation. I remember her (robot self) and Coulson sharing a drink). My brother told me about what I missed though, about the whole simulation thing.

Great premiere though. Like damn

Also why were they about to be arrested in the beginning? That must be something I obviously missed from last season

Im caught up on the show, but it's become a chore to watch.There's so much bad ass shit going on in the movies that actually seem to matter to the MCU that it's hard to care about a lot of the shit SHIELD is fighting.

Only last season felt like that, IMO. Everything up through Hive and now this season all feel great and engaging as far as my interest goes.
