Less because of the Marvel stuff, or the fact that Fox still owns ANH (though those are nice perks of course), but more for the vast film and TV library Fox has.

For example, Simpsons available day 1 on that Disney streaming service... prints money man

Disney will absorb the studio. They'll let them make rated R movies.

I hope they do Deadpool as a streaming show.

Deadpool would probably be completely different under them. X-men movies got worse as it went on so no big loss. I liked the solo Wolverines better as a whole and those are done so whatever

Maybe. Whose to say they'd even continue to operate the FOX studio independently after a few years of purchasing it. They might just let all Fox film people go.

The key to the purchase is the assets aka the library of content. By all reports Disney isn't looking to run two film studios. That's not where the money lies. This is all about Disney's streaming service and the fact that they can probably parlay buying all these IPs and content into additional merch at the parks and such
