The classic seven wonders were:

Colossus of Rhodes
Great Pyramid of Giza
Hanging Gardens of Babylon
Lighthouse of Alexandria
Mausoleum at Halicarnassus
Statue of Zeus at Olympia
Temple of Artemis at Ephesus

The only ancient world wonder that still exists is the Great Pyramid of Giza.

The pyramids were already ancient when the other six ancient wonders were built.

Pisses me off that we will never get to actually experience those. Would've loved to see the Hanging Gardens or the Colossus

EDIT: Seems like there have been plans in the works to build a new Colossus since 2015

Engineers are still wondering how the original colossus was built though. Supposedly the original straddled the entrance to the harbour; but if that's the case how did it not collapse during construction?

Nobody really thinks that other than medieval painters. Essentially everybody nowadays thinks it was a traditionally standing statue.

Yeah, I'm reading up on that right now. Apparently the collapsed statue just layed there for 800 years. If it straddled the entrance, it would've blocked it upon collapse.

That's one of the current wonders of the world, which are different to the traditional ones.

Also with regards to Andre the Giant; apparently seeing him with a woman was like watching a lion mauling a puppy.

You know the original name for the Statue of Liberty was in fact "The New Colossus" (where the new wolfenstein gets the name from as well)

I'm inclined to go for the Colossus, or maybe the Lighthouse.

The pyramids may still be around, but it's not that big a selling point when you consider it's basically an arranged pile of blocks.

Not to take away from any of them, they're all remarkable.
