The game wasn't even anything special outside of being my first MMO ever, but it sucked even as that. Why would anyone actively want to play this?

Y'know, we should all get a PotD group together and play it. But ironically. So we can all talk about how bad it is. And discover the meaning of friendship as we do it

They're putting some serious work into this. Honestly seems like they're more hyped about the version where they're doing their own thing than they are with the vanilla server with its fucking horrible combat system.

Mhmm! Been looking forward to it. It's certainly not the best-designed game and the world feels like a giant soulless void, but it was a rewarding grindfest that didn't overly emphasize multiplayer aspects like most MMOs these days. It was a single-player game where other players just so happened to simultaneously exist, which is how I like it.

Also it's pretty unique in that it was an officially-backed MMO unofficially inspired by a fan-made crossover webcomic which is like how incredible and out of nowhere is that?

That they're essentially making a fangame based on an MMO inspired by a fancomic just brings it to a whole other level.

I used to have a ton of those super rare Ed Edd and Eddy cards. Little 6 year old me even had a system where I was able to get pretty shit cards and trade them up to really rare ones.

And I was pissed when I went on after a long hiatus to find out that they discontinued the game.
