this is like the hardest thing to say no to ever

my wife works from home so we could theoretically do it

but in practice we already have a half-husky that is a little nervous around new big dogs, and a hormonal arctic female with a half-dozen babies to protect is a creature that literally can't be in the same room with her

also our other dog (a 10# toy poodle mix) is a dick and would probably get himself killed by said mother after trying to fuck her

intent would be having the pups for 6 weeks as they'd all be adopted immediately and go out at the 6 week mark when they stop getting their mother's milk, and the momma to another foster after that also

so it's mostly about keeping the family together until they are safe to split up

it's just...our dogs are not compatible.

i cant remember if it was safe to adopt at 6 or 8 weeks. somehow i had to end up adopting one at that age. luckily it wasn't messed up behaviorally.
