I hate having to admit defeat in video games. I'm not a huge trophy whore, but if a game's got a challenge for me I usually try to beat it. Been that way since the PS1 days.

The goal is to beat the whole game in one sitting, hardest difficulty, permadeath and without changing the batteries to your camera, meaning that you have to navigate the vast majority of the game in complete darkness.

It's total bullshit, but at this point I've put enough hours into it that if I don't do it it's gonna gnaw at me.

They could at least have let you skip the fucking cutscenes.

Making me miserable.
