Need to assign points to all my SPECIAL stats, pick some perks, and tag three skills. I usually tag Speech, Small Arms, and either Barter or Science. Playing with Restoration Project mod on, which includes YAAM ( an ammo rebalance mod) by default. Thoughts?

Intelligence 1 - visit Torr.

Otherwise have a nice high agility and just have some fun with it. Panicking over character builds will just spoil it for you. All I will say is that there's not much point of having strength over 6. Just avoid using small frame in that case.

Trait - Gifted

Tag - Small Guns, Speech, Energy Weapons (or tag energy weapons at level 12 and pick any 3rd tag you want skill when starting out)

Disable YAAM. It's broken. Makes the game way harder IIRC, it also doesn't function exactly how it's intended, and overall is more of a reworking of the ammo damage system, rather than a rebalance. Just use the default system for ammo; It's fine for regular gameplay even if AP is broken.

Meh. The only thing Small Frame does is lower your max carry weight. You can offset that by having 6 Chr and getting some "pack mules" to ferry shit across California for you, which is made further redundant by getting the Highwayman car.

As for your build, I dunno. Are you looking for an RP build, or a challenge build?

Oh yes, the syringe. I thought about picking it up, but I'm loathe to build anything around content that was cut from the game. Cut weapons? Sure, lay them on me. NPCs and random encounters that didn't make it into the final game? No problem. Stuff that affects your core stats and skills? Eeeeeh. Nah, man. Nah.

IDK, probs an RP build. I don't really like "challenge" builds that just limit your options like lvl 1 challenges and crap

@fire_bolt Pretty sure it's just the default option. You can select to not install it when you run the installer. I'm also fairly sure that you can just re-run the installer to deselect it, as long as you start a new game afterwards. No need to reinstall the game and such.
