I mean, I liked the idea of splitting a book adaptation up since it's better than cutting as much as they do. But it was just about money, and squeezing as much as they can from the general consumer since they know people can't not go to see stuff like Harry Potter and Twilight.

Is that so? I avoided those films like a disease, I know it worked for Harry Potter and I'm pretty sure Twilight and that's all I know.

Yeah I mean the box office revenue from two movies instead of one far outweighs the lost revenue from those who are like "I'm not seeing either movie because it's unnecessarily split into two"
