Yeah, it's got a decent variety. However, you are going to want to buy DLC in whatever genres you like, eventually.

The songs in the first Rocksmith game are mostly okay, but Rocksmith 2014 has a much more well-rounded setlist.

Yes, I only played on PS4. Actually I played on PS3 as well, but it was essentially the same experience cable-wise.
