Everyone is talking about aliens is space, but what if humanity is the most advanced species and if anything exists out there, they aren't more advanced than humans or that of sc-fi.

I hope not cause that makes things less interesting. We won't be finding alien life on other planets in our lifetime so we have to rely on them coming to us

It's highly likely that another intelligent species has or will exist in the Milky Way.

However, it's extremely unlikely that they would be alive at the same time we are, and a near impossibility that they would be space-faring. We'll probably miss eachother by a few billion years.

I find it more interesting to find and be able to get to livable planets. Not some crazy, seemingly hospitable patent filled with things trying to kill us.
