19 y/o Makayla Grote from Colorado was viciously murdered by a 15 YEAR OLD BOY after he had an apparent "kill list"..but it was her 18 y/o SISTER who was on the kill list, not Makayla although he said he would have killed anyone in the house!!

The 15 y/o was an avid hunter who used a hunting knife to murder Makalya at the Shores in Mcintosh Lake Apartments. It was presumed he used a knife instead of a gun to not cause attention to the sound

There were texts between the suspect and Makayla's sister who attends Green Mountain High School that mentioned a death list..

The boy who is not being named because of his age, first knocked on their door at 11am to help "jump his car".

But later that night when both sisters were home at the time, the 15 y/o returned at 6pm and Makayla opened the door where she was immediately stabbed in the head and chest!!

Makayla's sister witnessed her murder and ran upstairs and he chased her up the stairs but she escaped into a bedroom and locked the door. The suspect tried stabbing through the door but was unable to get in and ran.

Police found him hiding in his parent's car about a mile from the murder scene where the THIRD person on his "kill list" lived..

Various weapons were found including molotov cocktails.

He remains in custody without bond on first degree murder charges as he elected not to appear in court and his mother went in his place.

A Gofundme page was created for funeral expenses as 10,330 was raised out of the 10,000 goal.

Makalya worked at the Colorado National Speedway and was an aspiring NASCAR driver.
